The quarterly Nielsen survey trend in the combined 44 Continuous Diary Measurement (CDM) markets shows the percentage of total radio listening from the Car at 42.4% in June (Apr-Jun) 2022 (slide 1), followed by 38.5% from Home and 16.7% from Work. There are minor changes from the March (Jan-Mar) 2022 survey. The Car and Work percentages are below pre-pandemic levels while the Home percentage remains higher.
The total week Cume Persons to radio in June (Apr-Jun) 2022 shows a very slight increase of 0.1% from March (Jan-Mar) 2022 and is just a tad below the pre-pandemic March (Jan-Mar) 2020 level (slide 2). At the same time, the total AQH (Persons Using Radio) increases by 2.3% compared to March (Jan-Mar) 2022; it represents 97% of the March (Jan-Mar) 2020 level.
