The quarterly Nielsen survey trend in the combined 44 Continuous Diary Measurement (CDM) markets shows the percentage of total radio listening from the Car dropping a bit from the pre-pandemic return of 43.6% in December (Oct-Dec) 2021 to 42.7% in March (Jan-Mar) 2022 and it is also slightly below the March (Jan-Mar) 2020 level of 43.3% (slide 1). At the same time, the Home percentage of 38.9% is more than two percentage points above March (Jan-Mar) 2020, while the Work percentage is a point and a half below the pre-pandemic level.

The total week Cume Persons to radio in March (Jan-Mar) 2022 shows a decrease of 0.8% from December (Oct-Dec) 2021 and is slightly below the pre-pandemic March (Jan-Mar) 2020 level. At the same time, the total AQH (Persons Using Radio) declines by 1.8% compared to December (Oct-Dec) 2021; it represents 95% of the March (Jan-Mar) 2020 level (slide 2).
